Overview
The Housing Department is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join the External/Environmental Works Team. The role involves managing a varied portfolio of Capital Improvement Programmes for the Council’s residential housing stock.
Responsibilities
- Contract administration and project management for refurbishment, upgrading and improvement projects.
- Provide professional services, including defect analysis, party wall matters and dilapidations.
- Oversee project teams and budgets, ensuring high-quality, timely and profitable delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, including CDM 2015, Building Regulations and the Party Wall Act.
- Maintain quality, health, safety and environmental standards across all projects.
- Conduct property surveys and scope works for Capital Improvement Programme.
Qualifications
• G09 salary range £38,220 – £40,777.
