The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

We’re looking for a UX Designer to join our growing Marketing team based in Barton-upon-Humber, helping to create intuitive, high-performing digital experiences that make it easier for customers to engage with our brand. We offer a flexible hybrid working approach, with 2 days per week spent at our Head Office in Barton-upon-Humber and 3 days working remotely from home.

Main responsibilities

  • Design and prototype new website pages that support traditional search, AI search, AI Overviews and paid landing page opportunities.
  • Create user-focused layouts that help customers find information, compare options and take the next step with confidence.
  • Run user research and testing before designs move into development, helping validate whether pages are likely to resonate and perform.
  • Use desk research, competitor analysis, customer insight and analytics data to inform design decisions.
  • Evaluate and recommend multiple design options, considering performance, usability, accessibility and commercial impact.
  • Work closely with SEO, PPC, Content, Analytics and Marketing teams to turn opportunities into clear design solutions.
  • Coordinate with developers to ensure design specifications are understood and implemented accurately.
  • Identify and work through technical constraints, balancing user needs, business goals and development requirements.
  • Bring inspiration from market-leading products, competitor experiences and emerging technologies into the design process.
  • Continuously improve existing pages based on user behaviour, performance data and business priorities.

About You

  • 4+ years’ experience in UX design, digital product design or website design.
  • Proven experience producing wireframes, prototypes and high-quality page designs.
  • Experience running user research, usability testing or design validation before development.
  • Strong understanding of customer journeys, accessibility, usability and responsive design.
  • Experience using analytics, desk research and performance data to shape design decisions.
  • Experience designing landing pages or digital experiences that support SEO, PPC or conversion performance.
  • Confident presenting design options, explaining recommendations and taking feedback from stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with developers and handing over clear design specifications.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar.
