About the Role

Join our security team at the Howden site as a Security Officer. The position is a 12‑hour, 4 on / 4 off shift pattern that rotates both day and night shifts.

Essential Requirements

  • SIA/CCTV licence required
  • Driving licence required

Main Responsibilities

  • Check visitors, deliveries and contractors in and out of the site
  • Act as a visual deterrent, patrol and secure the site
  • Prevent and investigate theft, criminal damage and breaches of site policy
  • Respond to incidents and alarms both on and off site
  • Operate security and access control systems including CCTV, electrical fencing and other controls
  • Conduct personnel and vehicle searches as required
  • Carry out advanced first aid / FPOS and drug and alcohol testing as required (full certified training provided)
  • Produce reports on day‑to‑day operations and irregularities and report to management as required

Desired Skills & Knowledge

  • First Aid and Fire Marshal training are desirable but not essential
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible, committed and punctual
