Overview

We are recruiting for a QC Checker to join our expanding Quality team based in Scunthorpe.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a designated department and team to ensure all products and units are subjected to rigorous quality control checks prior to packing and dispatch. Checks will include label verification to confirm product matches the label in terms of type, colour, size, edge banding, frontal, fittings and other accessories where applicable.
  • Ensure every unit is checked 100% before packaging is applied.
  • Identify different manufactured pieces and designs.
  • Monitor and report any quality issues to the Quality Manager / Quality Supervisor and the Quality team leaders.
  • Carry out minor repairs on defective pieces in line with Quality standards.
  • Help reduce reworks and rejects on the assembly lines.
  • Participate in daily quality toolbox talks to discuss ongoing issues and projects.
  • Comply with quality check sheets, record results, and identify trends.
  • Provide support to manufacturing teams when required.
  • Maintain high quality within manufacturing systems to meet ISO 9001 standards.
