The People Operations Advisor supports the People Operations Manager in improving how our People function operates, combining operational HR knowledge with process improvement, data analysis and project delivery. Sitting within the People Team, this role works across HR, Recruitment and Training to improve processes, provide operational insight and support the delivery of People initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the review, development and implementation of People processes, policies and operational procedure to ensure they remain efficient, compliant and practical.
- Take ownership of defined People Operations processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve ways of working.
- Partner with HR, Recruitment and Training teams to resolve operational issues and ensure processes are consistently applied.
- Support the design, documentation and implementation of streamlined processes and self-service tools for managers.
- Carry out compliance and process audits, identifying areas of risk and coordinating actions through to resolution.
- Lead smaller People Operations projects and support wider People projects, ensuring actions and agreed outcomes are delivered.
- Produce and analyse people metrics, dashboards and operational reports to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Support the People Operations Manager with operational priorities, investigating issues and making practical recommendations for improvement.

About You:
- Previous experience within HR, People Operations or a similar operational role
- Good practical understanding of HR processes and UK employment practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn information into practical recommendations
- Experience of reviewing and improving processes and ways of working
- Confident working with HR systems, data and management information
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and take ownership of work
