The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern. Main Responsibilities: To carry out planned and reactive maintenance. Providing rapid response to breakdowns when required. Fault finding, troubleshooting, and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment, and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time. To follow up any faults picked up on PPM’s. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operational effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems. To assist specialist subcontractors for both PPM and reactive works. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects. Ensure Company & Site Health & Safety procedures are always followed. Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner. To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude. Complete any other associated tasks requested by management. Ensure that workstations are kept tidy and well maintained. About You Key Skills and desires: Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and relevant experience. PLC Qualification. An ability to work well under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent technical skills and knowledge. Problem solving skills. Team working skills.
