We are recruiting Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding team at our Barton-Upon-Humber factory. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern. The salary for this position ranges from £38,000 to £45,000.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide rapid and professional response to breakdowns.
  • Fault find, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
  • Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
  • Assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements, both for PPM and reactive works.
  • Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (Shire System).
  • Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
  • Proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
