We are recruiting for a Machine Cleaner to join our team based at our quartz factory in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 14:30-23:00.
Main responsibilities
- Cleaning the machinery and areas of the factory to bring them in line with high standards set in all other areas of the factory
- Following check lists to ensure all tasks are carried out accordingly
- Adhering to policies and procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
- Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role
- Additional responsibilities that may be out of normal working hours directed by Supervisors or Managers
Desired skills and knowledge
- Experience of cleaning machinery in a factory
- High level cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience with COSHH
- Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
