We’re excited to recruit Drivers Mates for our Broken Cross Depot, with start dates available from January 2026. Join our award‑winning Transport team that has received numerous awards for operational, business and health & safety excellence over the last two years.
About The Role
The role is Monday to Friday inclusive. The hourly rate is £11.50 plus a quarterly bonus up to £375, with a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours a week. You’ll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays. After 12 weeks of rewarding work, you can join our LGV Driver Apprenticeship programme, which will enhance your skills and increase your hourly rate.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as part of a two‑person delivery team to ensure all deliveries meet high standards.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
- Communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities.
- Adhere to procedures for proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Provide a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit.
- Make proactive customer phone calls with ETAs and keep records of deliveries.
- Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free.

About You
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills.

- Clean, full UK Category B driving licence.

- Maths and English GCSE C grade or above or equivalent functional skills level 2.
