Main Responsibilities
- Ensure our HR Operations remain legally compliant, future‑proof and commercially practical by conducting reviews of contracts, policies and employee handbooks.
- Partner with the HR, Recruitment and Training teams to ensure processes are efficient, scalable and aligned with organisational goals.
- Design, document and embed streamlined HR processes and self‑service manager tools to reduce transactional burden and empower line managers.
- Carry out compliance audits across the function, including Right to Work and process audits.
- Work with the HR Project Manager to deliver People‑related projects with clear ROI and measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager to streamline recruitment operations, improve candidate experience, offer processes and key metrics.
- Produce people metrics, dashboards and compliance reports that support commercial decision‑making and workforce planning.
- Coach managers to make sound, commercially minded decisions that also uphold fairness and legal compliance.
About You
- Extensive HR generalist experience, with strong operational ownership.
- Practical knowledge of UK employment law and experience updating contracts and policies.
- Strong knowledge of Right to Work and Visa management.
- Proven track‑record of process redesign and operations improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail, process documentation skills and practical use of HR metrics/reporting.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
