We are currently recruiting an Assembly Line Leader to join our expanding manufacturing team at our Howden site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and work in a fast-paced, modern, and high-tech production environment. The role is Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30, offering a competitive rate of £13.80 per hour.
You will play a key role on the assembly line, supporting the manufacture of bedroom components, overseeing picking and packing activities, and ensuring the smooth loading and dispatch of completed orders.
Main responsibilities:- Monitoring specific areas of the department to ensure all processes and procedures are always followed.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies at all times.
- Support and coordinate with team leaders, supervisors, and management to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Ensure all daily departmental tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to colleagues as required.
- Liaise with other area captains, teams, and departments to support site-wide efficiency.
- Carry out general warehouse and manufacturing duties as requested.
- Ensure the safe and correct use of equipment.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
- Confident working as part of a team and supporting others.
