This role will be working night shifts
Critical purpose of role:
- To work as part of a two-person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
- To ensure fleet compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and continuously improved
- To adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
Main responsibilities:
- Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace.
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team.
- Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit.
- Take full responsibility for operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure that Van Delivery Porters proactively make customer phone calls with ETAs, & keep records of deliveries.
- Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage-free.

About You
Relevant qualifications & experience:
- More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
- Hold a valid C+E license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Holds an up-to-date Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
