We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 C+E) Board Collection & Container Drivers to join our award-winning Transport team based in Barton-upon-Humber.

The role will involve carrying out chipboard collections from Hexham and returning loads to our manufacturing sites, alongside container collections from Rotherham, Doncaster and Felixstowe.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, ensuring collections are completed in accordance with planned schedules and all relevant transport and safety procedures.
This role will be working afternoon/night shifts starting from 15:00.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport office regarding daily activities, collections, delays and any operational issues.
- Undertake container collections from Rotherham, Doncaster and Felixstowe in line with daily transport plans.
- Carry out scheduled chipboard collections from Hexham and return loads safely and efficiently to our manufacturing sites.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace.
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team.
- Take full responsibility of operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure loads and containers are transported securely and in accordance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately.

About You
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- More than 1-year experience in HGV driving
- Hold a valid C+E UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Hold an up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC Qualification
You must comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and responsibilities outlined within the Integrated Management System
