We are recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to join our expanding team based in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. The salary for this position is £41,500 - £43,500.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising and leading Engineering Team
- Plan and schedule day-to-day repairs and improvement projects for production machines and supporting equipment
- Ensure that breakdowns are dealt with in an effective and timely manner and accurately processed in Shire (CMMS) system
- Maintain Engineering compliance, ensuring all equipment is safe and operational
- Responsible for the PPM Leadership in designated area
- Support Engineering Manager and Supervisor on site with machine improvement plans
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, providing status updates and actionable feedback to relevant parties
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven track record of delivering results
- Self-motivated with strong prioritisation skills
- Relevant experience in Engineering management, ideally in the woodworking industry, FMCG experience is a bonus
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
