We are recruiting for Electrical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our site in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on a rotating shift pattern. The salary for this position is £39,000 plus shift allowance.
Responsibilities
- Support the Operational teams / colleagues in resolving the technical issues on the machines.
- Work towards a zero-breakdown and zero-stop mentality, reducing the maintenance costs including reducing working capital for spare parts.
- Take ownership for working area; monitor key maintenance KPI's such as breakdowns and have a strong service-department mindset towards the operations.
- Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems.
- Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process).
- PLC fault finding.
- Ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- You must be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer with valid IEE regulations over 1 year.
- Time served Electrician with NVQ level 3.
- Experience in a similar electrical function and industrial environment.
- Understanding of PLC systems.
