About The Role

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate operational financial data to the business. You will interrogate large amounts of data to gain business insights and protect the business assets through financial integrity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactive collection of overdue invoices on the assigned ledger across our Private Development & Public Sector customer base.
  • Managing risk by regular communication with customers & sales managers.
  • Allocation of customer payments.
  • Query management and investigation up to point of resolution.
  • Final account reconciliation and retention management.
  • Reviewing credit limits ensuring balances do not exceed the agreed limit.
  • Customer master data maintenance.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding approval to dispatch products.
  • Produce manual invoices for dispatched kitchens when required.
  • Produce statements for credit customers.
  • Communicate with Trade & Contract managers to ensure all outstanding invoices are paid within terms.
  • Post weekly contact centre credits/ compensation.
  • Any other task reasonably set out by Manager & Team Leader.

About You

  • Experience of recognised ERP system. Preferably IFS.
  • Competent use of excel.
  • Pro-active approach and embraces change.
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with both colleagues and customers.
