We are looking for a Buyer, based at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full-time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.

Main responsibilities:

  • Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate pricing, product and supplier information in internal systems.
  • Update forecasting tools and align usage data with suppliers.
  • Assist with supplier negotiations under the guidance of Manager.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify trends and alternative supply options.
  • Assist with departmental reporting, KPI tracking and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) on supplier-related or product-related projects.

About You - Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a commercial, supply chain or admin support role preferred but not essential.
