Main Responsibilities
- Architect and refine tools, processes, and infrastructure to optimise application deployment and performance across the business.
- Ensure comprehensive observability and proactive monitoring of all systems to maintain reliability and performance standards.
- Lead collaborative efforts with both internal teams and external partners to achieve business and technical goals.
- Spearhead the management and strategic enhancement of service configurations and their administration.
- Host discussions surrounding architecture and best practice.
- Advocate for and implement best practices and operational excellence throughout the organisation.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for systems, applications, and operational procedures.
- Participate actively in incident and problem management, including off‐hours support as needed.
- Design and implement robust security measures to protect against evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Lead the design and development of innovative services, tooling, and processes based on stakeholder needs.
- Manage end‐to‐end project scopes, from planning and design through to execution and ongoing management.
- Foster a culture of learning and growth within the DevOps team by mentoring junior engineers and other technical staff.
- Lead by example to cultivate technical expertise and professional skills across the team.
- Organise and conduct training sessions to elevate team capabilities and ensure knowledge transfer on best practices, new technologies, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and process compliance.
