We are seeking a dynamic IT Field Engineer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for traveling to various sites to install and configure IT equipment as part of new location rollouts on a weekly basis. Additionally, you will perform preventative maintenance at existing locations and provide on-site support for break-fix schedules as required. This is a field‐based position that involves extensive travel and hands‐on technical work at showrooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Roll out IT infrastructure and services at showrooms weekly.
  • Respond promptly to provide comprehensive IT support to desktop/laptop systems, mobile devices, printers, network connectivity, and more, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Visit existing locations for routine preventative maintenance.
  • Install and configure various types of standard and bespoke IT equipment, which may involve drilling and mounting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows and IOT operating systems; ensure all installations and maintenance tasks meet company standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide effective communication and support to our internal customer base and team members.

About You

Essential Skills

  • Experience in an IT field engineer or similar role.
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and domain services (AD, Azure, InTune, GPO).
  • Hands‐on experience with installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as drilling and mounting equipment.
  • Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

Desirable Skills

  • Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
  • Understanding of multiple MDM platforms (Jamf, OneLan).
