We are looking for a Buyer, based at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full-time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Main responsibilities:
- Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring data accuracy
- Maintain accurate pricing, product and supplier information in internal systems
- Update forecasting tools and align usage data with suppliers
- Assist with supplier negotiations under the guidance of Manager
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify trends and alternative supply options
- Assist with departmental reporting, KPI tracking and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) on supplier-related or product-related projects
About You:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in a commercial, supply chain or admin support role preferred but not essential
