We are looking to grow our Transport Planning Team with the addition of a Transport Planner. You will be a key part of the team, helping with daily route planning, managing our fleet resources and ensuring the transport planning runs smoothly.

Rota Shifts: 3 Rota Shifts (05:00 – 13:30, 07:00 – 15:30 or 08:30 – 17:00)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily route planning using HDX and Paragon software
  • Management of fleet resource and driver shift patterns
  • Manipulation of customer delivery matrix in line with forecast figures
  • Emergency customer scheduling
  • Ensure production workload is consistent daily
  • Reporting on key logistics KPI’s
  • Pro‑actively resolve potential customer and store queries
  • Work as a team to achieve the daily and weekly targets
  • Offer problem solving solutions
  • Management of customer order flow

About You:

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced skills in Excel – including formulas, formatting and lookups
  • Routing experience – desired but not essential
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and relevant functions
  • Ability to communicate and convey information by varied methods
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
