The Role

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in Telford. As the first point of contact for visitors and customers, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our reception area. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who enjoys working with people and delivering exceptional customer service.

A Day in the Life of a Receptionist

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors to the office in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, ensuring they receive the appropriate assistance.
  • Maintaining a welcoming and tidy reception area, ensuring information displayed is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Following building security procedures by verifying visitor identities, ensuring all guests are signed in, and coordinating with colleagues to personally receive visitors.
  • Responding to customer enquiries, both in person and through a variety of communication channels, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working closely with the Customer Services team to ensure customers receive the highest standard of service.
  • Supporting the smooth running of the office by undertaking general reception and administrative duties as required.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working in a reception or customer service environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • The ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • A professional and approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
