Location: Telford – Hours: 36 hours per week – Salary: £10.58 per hour – Contract Type: Apprenticeship, 2 year fixed-term contract
Responsibilities- Financial Services – assisting with month-end processes, internal and external audit processes and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Customer Experience Finance – assisting in monitoring and reporting on budgets for housing management and repair services, and analysing expenditure related to responsive and planned maintenance.
- Care and Support Finance – assisting in budget monitoring, cost allocation and income monitoring, and financial reporting relating to contracts and NHS/Local Authority funding streams.
- Rents and Service Charges – assisting with service charge calculations and maintenance of customer accounts, and analysing rent and service charge income data.
- Develop technical accounting knowledge, commercial awareness, and an understanding of how finance supports operational service delivery within the housing sector.
- GCSEs Grade 4 and above in English and Maths or the equivalent.
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) skills.
- Ability to compose simple emails and documents.
- Clear communication skills (phone, email, Teams, and face-to-face).
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to learn about the organisation and its services.
