We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking People Systems and Insight Manager to join our People leadership team. This is a key role for the department, leading the development and continuous improvement of our People systems, data and insight. You will play a central part in modernising how we use HR technology and people data, ensuring it is reliable, joined up and genuinely supports decision making across the business.

You will work closely with People Team colleagues, IT and senior leaders to translate organisational priorities into practical, data-led people solutions. As part of the management team, you will also contribute to the wider People strategy and building a more insight-driven People function. The role includes line management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop People systems (incl. ATS and LMS) and data to support a modern, insight-driven People function
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR technology and process digitisation, ensuring systems are reliable, integrated and user-focused
  • Enable the delivery of high-quality people insight and reporting to support business and workforce decisions
  • Ensure strong data governance, security and compliance across all People systems
  • Work in close partnership with IT, Business Intelligence and People Team colleagues
  • Manage system suppliers to ensure value for money and ongoing improvement projects
  • Line management responsibility for a small team
What You’ll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day management, development and optimisation of People systems across HR, payroll, learning and recruitment
  • Develop and deliver a clear roadmap for People systems and insight, aligned to organisational and digital priorities
  • Deliver meaningful people insight and reporting that supports workforce planning, pay, performance and strategic decision making
  • Champion a modern, user focused approach to People systems that improves experience and efficiency for colleagues and managers
  • Work closely with IT and Business Intelligence to ensure systems are integrated, secure and future focused
  • Manage relationships with system suppliers and partners, ensuring value for money and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to People and organisational projects, acting as a subject matter expert for systems, data and analytics
What You’ll Bring
  • Significant experience managing and developing HR systems and data reporting in a complex organisation
  • Proven ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight
  • Confidence in collaborating and influencing stakeholders at different levels, including senior leaders
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of line managing or developing others
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for modernising the HR function
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
