The role: We are looking to engage with Bank Catering Assistants to support our passionate catering teams across Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Wombourne, Cannock, Whitchurch, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford. Our ShireLiving Schemes offer excellent services to our customers and a pleasurable working environment, where you can interact with our customers and support making a difference to people’s lives. The Catering teams deliver a range of breakfast and lunch options 7 days a week 365 days a year between the hours of 08:30am to 14:30pm, with a skilled catering team. You will be engaged as a casual worker that means that the organisation is under no obligation to offer you work nor are you under any obligation to accept any work offered. What you will be doing
- Preparing and serving quality food
- Cleaning and organising the food preparation area
- Have a friendly approach towards visitors and residents
- Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, residents and guests in a pleasing and polite manner
- Monitoring the kitchen area to ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
- Ensure the Café service areas are to a high standard
- Washing dishes, cutlery, serving utensils, containers and tables
About you
- You will have experience of delivering excellent customer service
- You will be someone who would embrace processes and procedures along with adding in a good measure of your creativity
- You will be open to new ideas and thinking out of the box
Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS Check.
