Location: The Sandford Nursing Home, Church Stretton, Shropshire
Hours & Shift Details: 12‑hour shifts, Shifts between 8am to 8pm when required
Positions: Part‑Time Bank positions
Role Overview: You will assist elderly residents with daily activities, promoting their independence, dignity and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene, including washing and toilet use.
- Provide dietary and nutritional support.
- Support promotion and stimulation of mental and physical activity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Previous experience in providing quality care for people.
- Commitment to delivering quality care to vulnerable adults.
- Excellent verbal, written and face‑to‑face communication skills.
- Caring attitude with a desire to help and support others.
- Care home experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to commute within no more than 1 hour of the home.
- Required to obtain an Enhanced with Adult Barred DBS disclosure.
