Wray Common Primary School is looking to appoint a friendly, pro-active and self-motivated Premises Manager to support our two-form school in the heart of Reigate, Surrey. This is a full-time role working 36-38 hours per week over 52.14 weeks per annum. The Premises Manager will take the lead role for managing site maintenance and will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management. They will maintain the site’s safety, cleanliness and security at all times and will ensure the school is compliant with all statutory legislation, standards and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a building or site management and maintenance role
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Experience in swimming pool management or the willingness to undertake training
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to balance daily responsibilities with conflicting demands
- The ability to support with school lettings, including those outside normal active duties, as and when required

The working hours will normally include two or three ‘active duties’ with contractual hours spread between 6am and 6pm depending on the needs of the school. Periods of ‘active duty’ will be agreed with the postholder in advance. The annual salary is £30,647 to £32,867.
