Who are we? WRAP is a global environmental action NGO transforming food, packaging, textiles and resource use systems in pursuit of circular living. For over 25 years, WRAP has innovated to meet the problems of the day. We prevent waste and pollution to save money, improve living standards and protect natural habitats. We reduce greenhouse gas emissions and water stress to strengthen resilience and help meet environmental goals. We improve resource use to increase productivity and growth. Across the world, we bring more than 1,000 businesses together with governments and civil society to tackle environmental challenges that require the collective action of many. Join us at WRAP and you'll drive important change to embed circular living in every boardroom and in every home.

The role: Technology, data and business processes are central to WRAP's ability to deliver impact at scale. As Business Solutions Lead, you will lead the development and delivery of WRAP's technology operations and business solutions capability. This is a broad and influential role, accountable for the performance and security of our technology services, the optimisation of business processes, and the successful delivery of technology-enabled change across the organisation. You will provide leadership across IT operations, cyber security, business process improvement and digital transformation, ensuring our systems, services and ways of working are reliable, secure, scalable and aligned to organisational priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders across WRAP to identify opportunities for improvement, develop the roadmap for technology and process initiatives, and ensure solutions deliver measurable value. This role requires someone who can operate comfortably between strategy and delivery.

What are we looking for?

  • Technology leadership and operational excellence: You understand how to create reliable, high-quality services and can balance operational performance with long-term strategic priorities.
  • Business improvement and solution delivery: You can lead the discovery, design and implementation of solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
  • Strategic thinking and innovation: You can connect technology capabilities with organisational objectives, evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to drive innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder engagement and influence: You can bring people together around a shared vision, challenge constructively and translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
  • People leadership: You create high-performing, collaborative teams and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus. You are passionate about developing people and helping teams succeed.

If you are excited by the opportunity to shape a new capability, strengthen WRAP's technology and cyber security foundations, and deliver technology-enabled change that helps maximise our impact, we would love to hear from you.
