SUMMARY

WR has an opportunity for a

Project Manager, Senior to manage and oversee all aspects of complex projects, ensuring successful completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and organizational objectives.

  • Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage projects that are complex, high-risk, and/or strategic in scope.
  • Identify project requirements and develop project risk management plans.
  • Develop cost estimates and prepare quotes and proposals in response to Requests for Quote (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Monitor and control project schedules, costs, quality, and risks.
  • Provide recommendations to senior and executive management regarding long- and short-range project objectives.
  • Develop and recommend programs and policies that support organizational growth, competitiveness, and revenue generation.
  • Mentor and train less experienced Project Managers.
  • Assist with the negotiation of delivery order terms and contractual modifications.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs across multiple projects.
  • Support proposal data calls, planning efforts, and technical specifications.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors.
  • Schedule and coordinate customer meetings.
  • Supervise project staff and allocate resources effectively.
  • Train, mentor, and develop project personnel.
  • Interview and hire staff to support project execution.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding project status and execution.
  • Prepare routine project status reports for customers.
  • Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Ten (10)+ years of experience managing projects, including projects with moderate to high risk and/or complex requirements.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of organizational operations and business objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Position Salary Range

$99,000 - $146,000.

The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position.

WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
