SUMMARY: WR is seeking an experienced Logistician, Lead to support the development of Engineering Change and Ship Change documentation. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop Configuration Management products, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), work file submissions, CDMD-OA queries, and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) certifications.
- Perform comparison of configuration records across platforms.
- Provide recommendations to ISEA based on analysis of technical data and documentation.
- Develop logistics documentation supporting maintenance philosophy and acquisition strategy.
- Apply knowledge of logistics management principles, policies, naval systems, and life cycle support requirements.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- DAWIA Lifecycle Logistics Level I certification (or equivalent logistics training/experience) preferred.
- Professional Logistics Certification is a plus.
- Six (6)+ years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics supporting electronic systems.
- One (1)+ year of experience supporting C4ISR systems.
- Experience analyzing engineering/systems management data and developing logistics plans and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe, and other word processing tools.
- Experience developing technical documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, testers, and technicians, and interpret technical drawings, military standards, and instructions.
- Strong analytical skills to gather, summarize, and present data, and resolve administrative challenges.
Note: Experience may be concurrent.
