My client is seeking a reliable and hands-on Yard and Fleet Coordinator to join their growing team in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a practical approach to take ownership of the company's yard, fleet and equipment, playing a key role in supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the daily operation, security and housekeeping of the yard, warehouse and workshop, maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
- Receive, inspect, unload and accurately record deliveries, while managing stock levels of tools, materials and PPE.
- Prepare, issue and receive tools, equipment and materials to support upcoming projects and site operations.
- Clean, inspect, maintain and carry out minor repairs to company tools and equipment, coordinating the hire and servicing of specialist equipment where required.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring equipment is transported securely.
- Coordinate the maintenance, servicing, MOTs and repairs of the company fleet, ensuring vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy and ready for operational use.
Key Skills:
- Highly organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
- Practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads, work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Competent IT user with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and high housekeeping standards.
- Full UK driving licence essential; forklift licence desirable.
