An established international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its Warrington road-freight team. This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-supported operation with a strong European network and a varied customer base. You will manage shipments from start to finish, giving you genuine ownership rather than handling only one part of the forwarding process.

The role:

  • Manage domestic, import, export and European cross-trade shipments
  • Coordinate day-to-day road-freight operations
  • Arrange UK import customs clearances and export documentation
  • Prepare competitive pricing for customers
  • Provide a responsive, professional service to clients
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partners
  • Manage activity through customer and supplier portals
  • Handle shipments involving ADR goods

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of five years' European road-freight experience
  • Previous experience in a freight-forwarding environment
  • Knowledge of UK and EU customs procedures
  • Experience managing European cross-trade movements
  • Familiarity with ADR shipments
