Transport Planner – Ipswich
Transport Planner role within a recognised transport company. This position is based in Ipswich.
- Job type: Permanent
- Hours: 4 on, 4 off – Nights (6 pm to 6 am)
- Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

The Role
- Routing company‑owned vehicles
- Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Ensure all customers are kept up to date
- Complete all necessary admin
- Work with the Manager to ensure all vehicles comply with company standards
- Perform and correctly implement general administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the company’s requirements
