I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder for a Junior Air Freight Import. You will join a supportive, close-knit team where you will receive ongoing training and the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded Air Freight Operator.
The Role
- Assisting with the coordination of international air freight import and export shipments.
- Liaising with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers.
- Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring all records are accurate.
- Tracking shipments and providing customers with regular updates.
- Supporting customs clearance processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics (air freight experience preferred but not essential).
- A genuine interest in developing a career within international freight.
