Ocean Import Operator Role & Responsibilities:
- Complete deep sea import operations from start to finish
- Provide first-rate customer service delivering the full life cycle of the import process
- Provide rates and quotes (LCL/FCL)
- Create bookings from origin for LCL & FCL Import shipments
- Liaise with overseas agents, hauliers, shipping lines and customers directly
- Complete customs clearances for all import shipments
- Produce commercial invoices
Essential requirements:
- 1 - 3 years' experience in ocean freight operations in import or export operations
- Experience with Cargowise software is preferable
The Package:
- Salary: up to £35,000 (Negotiable)
- Mon - Fri 8:30am - 17:00
- 25 days holiday + 8 days BH
- Profit share scheme
- Company pension contribution
