My client is seeking an experienced QSHE Manager to join their site based in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take the next step in their career within Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the integrated QSHE management system, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards across all operations
- Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained
- Oversee incident reporting and investigations, identifying root causes and driving preventative and corrective action plans
- Develop and deliver QSHE training, promoting a strong safety and quality culture throughout the organisation
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall QSHE performance
- Ensure full compliance with Environment Agency requirements, including permit adherence, reporting obligations, and regulatory inspections
Requirements:
- Experience in a previous QHSE or Health and Safety Management position
- Previous experience working for a UK based Environmental Services or Industrial company
- Up to date IOSH is essential (NEBOSH is desirable)
- Previous experience dealing with compliance and regulation issued by the Environment Agency
