Location: Selby Salary: 37,000 per year Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
A growing freight and logistics company based in Selby is seeking an experienced Road Freight Coordinator to join their busy operations team. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating UK and European road freight movements
- Managing collections, deliveries, and shipment schedules
- Liaising with drivers, hauliers, warehouses, and customers
- Preparing transport and customs documentation
- Tracking shipments and resolving operational issues
- Providing shipment updates and customer support
- Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within road freight, transport, or logistics
- Good understanding of UK and European haulage operations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customs knowledge advantageous but not essential
- Competent with Microsoft Office and freight systems
