Road Freight Coordinator β Coventry β Up to Β£42,000 β Monday-Friday
We\βre looking for an experienced Road Freight Coordinator to join a busy traffic office in Coventry, planning FTL and LTL movements on the UK-Ireland lane.
This is a hands-on role for someone who\βs used to working in a fast-paced road freight environment, managing 40ft articulated vehicles, dealing directly with drivers and customers, and keeping trucks moving.
Responsibilities
- Planning and controlling FTL & LTL road freight movements
- Issuing instructions to drivers and managing day-to-day operational issues
- Monitoring loads, timings, delays, and exceptions
- Updating customers on collection and delivery status
- Administration of PODs and job pricing
What You Need
- Minimum 2 years\β experience as a road freight Coordinator
- Experience planning 40ft artic vehicles
Nice to Have
- Experience on the UK-Ireland lane
- Basic understanding of customs processes
- Experience with temperature-controlled or pharma freight
