The Role
We're working with a well-established environmental services business looking to add a Transport Coordinator to their Southampton team. This is a fully office-based, fast-paced role, supporting the day-to-day planning and coordination of vehicles and drivers within a busy waste operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule vehicles and drivers to maximise efficiency
- Support transport compliance (driver hours, tachographs, maintenance) alongside the CPC holder
- Deliver a high level of service to customers and internal teams
- Work closely with other departments to meet operational needs
- Support driver management, including holidays, performance, and attendance
- Ensure all training and compliance records are up to date
- Assist with reporting and general transport administration
- Take part in an on-call rota
About You
- Experience in a transport office, in a planning capacity
- Waste sector experience (desirable)
- Route planning experience
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Proficient in transport systems
- CPC qualified or willing to gain (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
