Position: Ocean Import Operator

Salary Up to £38,000k + Bonus incentives
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00pm
Are you an experienced Ocean Import Operator looking to join a dynamic logistics team? We’re seeking a skilled professional to manage and coordinate ocean import shipments efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading global logistics provider based in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process ocean import shipments from origin to destination
- Prepare and review shipping documentation and customs paperwork
- Liaise with shipping lines, agents, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Track shipments and resolve any operational or documentation issues
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ocean import operations
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
