Ocean Export Coordinator – Southampton\\n\\nOur client, who are a multi-site Freight Forwarder in the UK and overseas are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join their team in Southampton. \\nAs an Ocean Export Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the importation of goods by sea, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery for our clients. Your knowledge of export procedures, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the success of their freight forwarding operations.\\n\\nJob Type: Full-time\\n\\nHours: 8:30am to 5:00PM – Monday to Friday\\n\\nAnnual leave: 22 days plus bank holidays\\n\\n Responsibilities:\\n\\nCoordinate and manage the importation of goods via ocean freight.\\nCommunicate and liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients.\\nArrange and track shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.\\nPrepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.\\nMonitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays.\\nCoordinate with warehouse and transportation teams for efficient cargo handling and delivery.\\nEnsure accurate data entry and maintenance of import records and databases.\\nProvide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing status updates.\\nCollaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of import activities.

Qualifications:\\n\\nPrevious experience as an Ocean Export Coordinator within the freight forwarding industry.\\nIn-depth knowledge of ocean import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.\\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\\nProficiency in using freight forwarding software and MS Office applications.\\nAttention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.\\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\\nKnowledge in CDS is essential\\nWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
