The Role - Freight Coordinator
You’ll be responsible for managing shipments end-to-end while delivering outstanding service to key accounts.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day import and export shipments (Sea, Air, Road & Multi-modal)
- Handle key blue-chip accounts and deliver exceptional customer service
- Raise and manage job files and shipping documentation
- Invoice jobs on completion
- Negotiate with suppliers, carriers and partners
- Work closely with the sales team on quotations and shipment updates
- Process jobs using the company’s in-house freight management system
What We’re Looking For
Essential experience:
- Proven experience working for a Freight Forwarder
- Strong knowledge of at least one of the following: Sea Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, Multi-modal Freight, Customs / Import / Export
You’ll be:
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Confident managing multiple shipments at once
- Customer-focused and commercially aware
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
