About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Multimodal Freight Operator. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of shipments across air, sea and road, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods for our customers. This is a key role within their operations department, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of international freight forwarding and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage multimodal shipments from origin to destination
  • Liaise with clients, carriers, customs agents, and overseas partners
  • Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation (AWBs, BOLs, CMRs, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures
  • Track and trace shipments, providing updates and proactive communication to customers
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency
  • Handle any delays, discrepancies, or issues in transit with professionalism and urgency
  • Maintain accurate files, data entry, and reporting in internal systems

  • Solid understanding of multimodal transport (air, sea and road)
