Our client is currently recruiting a Telesales Executive to join their Air & Sea division, supporting national growth across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer engagement, and building commercial success in a fast-paced, global logistics environment.
The successful candidate will focus on generating new business, managing small to medium-sized accounts, and presenting Air & Sea freight solutions - primarily through phone and online interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business leads for Air & Sea services, with a strong focus on SME customers
- Conduct outbound telesales calls to identify, qualify, and convert prospective customers
- Prepare, follow up, and close quotations for Air & Sea transport solutions
- Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and long-term retention
- Develop tailored proposals and deliver virtual presentations showcasing Air & Sea freight capabilities
- Use CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar) to manage leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline activity
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and handover of new customers
- Share qualified leads and support wider sales initiatives across the business
- Complete weekly reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance against KPIs
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with company policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in telesales, sales, customer service, or inside sales within a freight setting
- Knowledge of Air & Sea freight
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility over the phone
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable making outbound calls with a hunter-style approach
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple leads, priorities, and tasks simultaneously
