Night Transport Planner - Kent
Up to £38,000 + car allowance | Total earning potential up to £45,000 4 on, 4 off | Nights
An established and busy transport operation is looking for an experienced Night Transport Planner to join its Kent team.
This is a key role responsible for coordinating drivers, deliveries and collections throughout the night, ensuring jobs stay on schedule and customers receive an excellent service.

- Salary up to £38,000

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with multiple drivers
- Liaise with ports and customers regarding deliveries and collections
- Book port delivery slots
- Monitor ETAs and proactively manage delays
- Reroute and reorganise jobs when required
- Update driver information and jobs using TOPS
- Check and allocate PODs accurately
- Keep customers updated on delays
- Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
About You
- Previous experience as a Traffic Operator, Transport Planner or similar - essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of UK geography
- Confident dealing with drivers, customers and ports
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Able to work independently and on a 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern
