We're partnering with a highly successful, employee-owned freight forwarding group that is looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help expand their international customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a hungry, winning mindset who is focused on building and growing long-term customer relationships, with full autonomy and genuine ownership potential.
Employee-Owned / Partner Opportunity
This is not a standard sales role. After a 6-month settling-in period, and once successful in the role, you will transition into a Partner of the business. At this point, you will become a share owner within the employee-owned structure. You will also qualify for an annual dividend payout based on company performance. This is a genuine long-term opportunity to build equity and share in the success of the business.
The Package
Salary: Fully negotiable ranging from Β£50,000 - Β£90,000 per annum (DOE)
Strong commission structure: 20% on new business for the first year of each account, 5% lifetime commission on retained accounts.
The Role
You will be responsible for winning and developing new business across air, sea, and road freight, with a strong emphasis on:
- US trade lanes (key growth market)
- International air freight
- Multi-modal global logistics solutions
- International Supply Chain
A key part of the role will be to develop and grow customer accounts, driving sustainable GP and long-term commercial value.
Location & Flexibility
Fully remote - UK based anywhere. Complete autonomy over how you manage your accounts and territory. Reporting into a senior sales leader based in LHR.
