A well‑established and growing freight forwarding specialist is seeking an experienced Export Sea Freight Operator to join their team in Leeds. With the majority of shipments focused on deep sea cargo movements, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong international presence and a consistent flow of global export work. Role

  • You will be responsible for managing export sea freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Handling full‑cycle export sea freight shipments (FCL & LCL)
  • Liaising with customers, shipping lines, and overseas agents
  • Preparing and checking export documentation (Bills of Lading, customs paperwork, etc.)
  • Booking shipments and coordinating with carriers
  • Monitoring shipment progress and providing regular updates
  • Managing any issues, delays, or changes proactively
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
