We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multimodal Freight Coordinator to join a well-established and growing logistics operation based in Inverurie. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage end-to-end freight processes across multiple transport modes.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage international imports/exports via air, sea, and/or road freight
- Handle end-to-end shipment processes, from booking through to final delivery
- Complete customs entries independently, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations
- Liaise with freight partners, agents, and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all import activities
- Ensure compliance with HMRC and all relevant import/export legislation
Requirements
- Proven experience in a multimodal import/export or freight forwarding role
- Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures with the ability to complete your own entries
- Experience using customs systems (e.g., CDS or similar)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
