What You'll Be Doing:

As a Multimodal Freight Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the logistics operation, overseeing the complete lifecycle of goods moving through air, sea, and road freight. You will be the linchpin in coordinating the smooth importation and exportation of goods, ensuring that everything is delivered on time and in compliance with regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full cycle of freight movements across air, sea, and road.
• Preparing and reviewing essential shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Liaising with overseas agents, carriers, and clients to coordinate the timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Using freight forwarding software and the CDS system to track and manage shipments.
• Troubleshooting any logistical challenges with your strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who has a passion for logistics, a sharp eye for detail, and an eagerness to thrive in a dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• At least 2 years of experience with a UK-based freight forwarder, specializing in air, sea, or road freight.
• Hands-on experience in import/export operations, including customs clearance.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and knowledge of the CDS system.
• Dangerous Goods by Air experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive approach with a can-do attitude to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
