About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Project Freight Coordinator to join our client who are within the Fine Art Shipping industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting various departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain positive client relationships and set clear expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic team within the department to ensure smooth operations.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings, providing exceptional customer service.
- Problem Resolution: Liaise with the head of department to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Adherence to Procedures: Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations to maintain a professional working environment.
- Administrative Duties: Handle all administrative tasks related to client and department needs.
- Ongoing Learning: Attend professional and educational courses as required to expand knowledge and skills.
- Promoting Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Flexibility: Be available to work away from base and assist in other departments as needed.
- Office Support: Answer the office phone, assist with client inquiries, and support ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with a UK-based Fine Art Shipping Company.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience with Customs Clearances is desirable but not essential.
- Full right to live and work in the UK.
